Henselite have been around since the year dot - in fact, Drake himself probably used a set of Henselite Bowls.
Sensibly, Henselite have now reduced their range to 5 models from the umpteen they had on sale. This, like Drakes Pride, makes it a lot easier to choose the right bias Bowl. The only down side is the price, since even in black they are on average £50 more expensive than other models, and in this day and age that is a lot of money.
So what are you paying for? What extra are you getting for your hard earned cash? And will it improve your game? You are probably paying for the name, the cost of importing them from Australia and the price of the pound against the dollar. Apart from that you are not getting much more for your money, and they certainly are not guaranteed to improve your game.
If you like the grip on the Henselite Bowls or you are a stalwart Henselite user who has never bowled with anything else then those Bowlers are more likely to continue to buy them.
However if you are looking for a good pair of Bowls shoes, look no further than Henselite who have probably the best range of Bowls shoes on the market. The difference here is, although they are again slightly more expensive than their competitors, you can actually see what you are getting for the extra pounds.
This is simply our opinion however, at the end of the day it’s your money, your choice. Below is the Henselite range of Bowls and what surface they are best suited for.
